yaten, like the other starlights, came to earth from another planet to search for his lost princess. he took upon a male form, and started a band with the other starlights, so he could sing out to his princess, in hopes of finding her. while on earth, he makes friends with a very unlikely being... luna, the cat! at the end of the series, yaten even gives luna a special goodbye. "arigatou, luna. ::wink::" "::blush:: meeeow!"

enter yaten. a moody, feminine, stylish guy. he has rather an attitude, and comes off as snotty. yaten also likes expensive, stylish things... like caviar, which is his favourite food. yaten is very serious about finding his princess, and is cold toward everyone.. *except*, it seems, for luna!

as the other starlights, when yaten transforms, he switches genders. as a senshi, he is middling on the power scale. and you can be sure about one thing.. yaten keeps his attitude, no matter what form he's in!
